I like mine. There are a lot of threads on here if you search a bit.
Better stability than the micro, longer wheel base, wider axel width, doesn't change wheel base with suspension travel, comes with a wall charger, scale look tires, scalesk truck body, drives well out of the box.
There are a few mods that make it crawl better, but very nice product just the way it comes. Just look around a bit and you will find lots of threads about how much people like them and what you can do with them. If you want to make a custom micro comp crawler it is cheaper to start with the micro crawler, otherwise, go for it.

I just got one about a week ago, and I had a question. Are the wheels supposed to be locked up out of the box? I got mine used and did a half charge just to try it out. It would not throttle, only the steering servo was working. Any ideas?

EBay? Sounds like a bad ESC. You can replace it for about $40. Hope you got a deal on it. Best case is that your battery is low. Charge it up fully. When the battery gets low it will still steer when the ESC cuts out.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing (too low charge). I am at work and just got it from the car and plugged it in. I'll test it out in a few hours. Manual says it is about 2-3 hours for full charge.

Got this little guy to crawl things in the office. lol

So, it turns out the full charge was the culprit. Man this thing is a blast!!! I love it! Now time to get a scale body and some beadlocks!!!
