Default HS-55 servo

I recently got an hs-55 that needs a different servo arm but the splines are much smaller than the ones on a hs-65. Is this common?

The arm on it now is so dinky I wouldnt dare try thread a ball stud into it. I would purchase some new arms but dont want anything that small, besides that it is too short.

hmm.. and the stock arm doesnt fit either i assume?

the hs-55 using a 16t horn, whereas the hs-65 uses a 23t.. i would check online for a 16t horn, maybe you can find a small metal one or something?

Actually that dinky servo horn will hold up. I used mine for over a year until I traded my first micro. And, to my knowledge, it is still holding up. I was running rock crushers with lead shot and no foams. Never had a failure. though, if you're running the qlo tires, I would recommend a different horn.

I am using the Rock Crushers, so if you say it will hold up i'll beleive you.
Thanks, I guess I will have to look online for a longer 16t horn. Metal would be cool

I used the the one that comes with the servo (not the 4 sided one but the two sided) just drill it out a bit not much just so the ball stud doesnt split it out. trim off the side you dont need there you go iI havnt had a problem yet.

I got the servo for free out of the box with no additional horns other than the 4 sided one. So my only option in to buy some other horns.
