Default (PICS) Found A Easier Way To Mount MiniQlo Tires

I found out this weekend if you use the stock size MCRC beadlock rings on your Hot Racing rims it makes the mounting MUCH easier. The stock MCRC rings fit nicely inside the tires and makes them easy to mount.

If possible, could you post up some pics? I'd like to see that mounted.

beastly looking rig.
I like to use the MiniQlo wheels with the tires because they fit tightly and dont need beadlock rings. though the rings they have are for looks and very scale.
they also work well on losi and RPP non beadlock wheels.

curious though, why not the hot racing beadlocks that come with the wheel? they are the same size as the losi

I found it was easier to mount mi claws on vertex than it was the mickys. I like that big fat bead on the mi claws.

The body is a Ford from the Radioshack series from some time back. Sorry but I just can't remember the name they were released under. I had to enlarge the openings in the fenders to clear the awesome tires.

The rings for the Losi rims have a slightly smaller OD and fit very nice down in to the tires very nice. I also use two pieces of a large paper clip to keep the holes aligned in the rims.

Thats weird. my HR Beadlock rings are the exact same size as my losi. both fit in the tire just fine. maybe HR has issues with consistency

I also found that if you dust the bead with some corn starch it allows the bead to work its way in there a bit easier
