| indoor micro crawler track in progress

yeah i got dustinblehs trekker and im using insulation foam, epoxy, expanding insulation foam, 4x6 3/8 plywood and prob gonna use 20 pounds of plaster not to mention the 2 bags of foam the vacuum cleaner picked up after cutting away at some of the foam

That paint dries tuff and has the texture of sand stone seams to work well

haha! Well, you have a great start. So you are going to put the plaster over it once you are done?

ill have to check it out.. oh and i found some losi micro crawler rtrs for 79.99 online there not the bind and drive ones thre the rtr is that a good deal? they also have if u order 100 or more its free shipping. the only bad thing is they are on back order

ill prob do the plaster tinfoil trick. im just not 100% if the plaster will stick to the foam without some glue as i have never messed with plaster before

his last post was 01-04-11 but ill pm him anyways hopefully ill gt a response atm im likeling the trekker on the surface that its on but im hopeing to make it more realistic ish

psh, man up and start hauling in the real thing. Best part is I can re-arrange the course to make it easier/harder as needed to balance it out between racing right to the top and being stuck at the bottom with no chance. I was going to do the plaster thing but dragging rocks in from the field behind my house is free, haha. I still need to get a bunch more rocks also. wheres your yota body? haha. I think that he has a very nice truck and he does not want to scrape it on rocks(real).

Well my 1:1 is a jeep like this one, so it was only fitting that I make this a jeep now too. The toyota cab did mount up a lot easier though.

im still trying to figure out how to bond the plaster to the foam and the diy guy on this forum prob isnt around anymore |
