Default losi micro crawler into trekker?

how hard is it to convert a losi micro crawler into a trekker? minus electronics? basicly i found the rtr micro crawlers for 79.99 and the trekkers are 149.99 so im wondering what to do and if it would save money buying a crawler and converting it. also i would be converting it to brushless and a digi radio

I think all you would need is the Trekker frame and links and driveshafts. Because the trekker has been made longer than the MRC. But everything else is the same...axles,motor,reciever,servo, etc...

You can get that frame from eBay.com

Here is the frame

Drive shafts...

I did not see links though.

Don't forget the 4 extended upper shock mount ball studs. The shocks will bind hardcore against the Trekker frame unless a shock crossmember is made.
