| Any other Esc/Rx combo units I can buy?
I just picked up a mini for my son and it didnt have the mrx-3100 esc/rx unit in it so I need to find one or a good substitute. The thing is they are $49.99 and I that seems like a lot. Are there any other good options for a combo unit like that so I dont have to do a separate esc and a separate rx? It did come with the 2.4ghz radio. Any info or links would be great. TIA |

Wow, 127 views up to this point and no one replied with any other options? Looks like I might not be the only one wondering this? I bought it without an esc/rx unit. How come you think Losi would just send me one? |

as far as all in one units your looking at the stock one for the micro crawler/trekker or swapping to am and get the one out of a sct/rally/dt/t. I would actually just get a flysky gt-2 an a cheap brushed esc from polk hobbies. The esc is the Polk PRO-0100 W /REVERSE. here is the link for it. http://store.polkshobby.com/scripts/...0100&conum=002 |

| It may not seem like a lot to you but to me it is. You can get a whole brand new micro on ebay for $59.99. I was simply asking if there was ANY other units you could use that may be of better quality for a similar price. Thanks for all the replies though.

| i agree with you.. for the quality of losi electronics.. i would get something else.. if i were you, id try and squeeze in a tekin b1r and a spektrum micro RX. that may be a more costly alternative, but its backed by quality. but im not sure if it will fit.

As all in one brushed units are concerned in my research Losi was the most economical. As not many brushed esc's are on the market its tough. Tekin makes one but you then need a rx which staying with Spektrum will eat up a $100 quick. Being that the 3500 or 3520 are the only ones that will truly fit with any ease. So yes in my opinion the best bet is to purchase a bnd and then you have all the spares. You may even part it out to recover some cash.
