My Hilux single cab long bed build After scoopin up a micro crawler for dirt cheap (and having had one when they first came out, http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/losi-micro-rock-crawler/212744-my-losi-micro-crawler-jeep.html) I was happily obliged to do up a scaler being inspired by looking through so many builds since. Soooo fun to drive around (especially killing time on pit tables at the local track) and crawls superb! Brass/solder chassis, dannaly's mod for wheel width widening rc4wd shoes, no foams solder wrapped around rims led's head and tail Here she is in her completed stage (for now) - http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...825_011607.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...825_011810.jpg next to her (yet to be)unmolested sister http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...825_011746.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...825_011651.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...825_011624.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...825_011557.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...825_011550.jpg Hoping for some opinions: Of course it crawls better with the width and bigger tires, but which looks better- stock or the mickey thompsons? http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...822_083858.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...822_083524.jpg |
looks great i like the MT tires |
sweet rig, your driver looks a bit scared though haha |
Rig looks awesome. Any off body shots? |
MTs "thumbsup". M&M lol! and a monkey riding shotgun.. LOL! them lights are friggin bright! 8) |
looks awesome! MTs for sure what model kit is that? |
Awesome rig,I'm a huge Toyota fan so it gets my 2 thumbs up. If you don't mind could you go in to a little detail on how you incorporated the led's and components used. I'm looking to add some to a build im doing and those look sick. |
Gotta keep the Mickeys they look real good on there. like the truck lights are awesome. |
Some chassis photos & ongoing accessory updates- added a rear cage, and ID retract winch setup(really helps crazy climbs!!) Have decided to keep MT's on there since it crawls soo much better with em. http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...827_042959.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...827_043021.jpg \http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...827_043035.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...829_085215.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...829_085226.jpg http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...829_085251.jpg |
