Rebuild(wrap up 9-6-11 with pics)

After getting my Mini QLO tires, and trying them out on my Courier, I decided it was time for a rebuild.....
heres what I started out with while I was waiting for the new body to show up....

Blade chassis, HR transmission halves/one piece rear lock-outs and Blade wideners, QLO's(I had the BWD weights). After the new body came in I had to lengthen the chassis even more....

I will clean it all up after I add a little more to strengthen it all up. Heres the new body I'm gonna try and make fit....

Its just mocked up here, so I could figure out the length. Its an older F-250 in 1/24th scale and its a long little devil. I used to have an old 89 that was the same body style so I may paint up to match that, but still undecided on a color yet. Anyways thanks for looking and I will be updating when there is progress."thumbsup"

Going to tuck the ESC/receiver up between the frame rails under the bed. this will allow me to put the engine under the hood and still be able to get to everything on the receiver itself.

that is freakin sweet, I love the engine the most. are those mini QLO going to clear on those rims?

Thats how i liked the ford trucks of that era... they really made them big and loooong (inb4 "she said that") esp the ones with extended cab n crew cabs, oh yeah and 460 CI

Well its pretty much done, a few things left to add onto it (mirrors and F-250 badges, a little trim paint), anyways here she is...

Im gonna have to do the wheel widening mod to it, as it is right now the turning radius is really, really horrible (tires get into the springs). I will also add a drop down hitch as I have a 1/24th car trailer for when I put the Courier back together.
minicrawler1 for the driveshaft mod, I ordered new shafts from Horizon, cut me a piece of tubing (sorry I don't remember the exact size), then cut the female end off the new shaft(all of it), glued the old shaft in one end, and the female part in the other end. The how to above should show you a step by step.
Anyways thanks for looking and keep wheeling....."thumbsup"

This is sweet, looking to do this as next project i have a 1/36 USA1 truck body 6 1/2" would that fit on the stock chassis? Also was looking all over and couldn't find if the stock wheels on the Trail Trekker are real bead locks or just look that way?

It is OL 6 5/8" bumper to bumper, 4 1/4" center wheel wells. And it is 1/32 scale, i saw the same body in an other thread on a mini z monster truck.
