Default super-stock build "mini rig"

building a "super-stock" micro. my goal was to keep it simple, and moderately stock.
start

next day

tires and aluminum parts on their way, more pics when they get here. my trying out a few motor/pinion combos right now, along with setting droop.

EDIT: finish results are full droop, a motor i found in an old servo from my 1/10, alum knuckles, rear lockout, blue alum wheels nuts ( blinginnnn ), tpro servo, boggers, BB's in tires, and a lipo

These little micros are pretty cool, I was going to buy one but no one I know owns one anymore. Have fun with it.

she's all naked right now thinking about heat-shrinking the esc, and mouting it somewhere, but i still don't know where i could so until i see something i'd like to do with it, i'm still thinking about it. you run out of room quick on these things! i also have an idea for a winch, that's kind of just for looks and kind of functional. i'll let you know if i can get it done up. my rear axle lockout, front aluminum knuckles, aluminum lock nuts, and super swampers are on their way, and i can't wait may paint the chassis

i recall some people mount a decased esc under the roof of the body on the inside with velcro. but, i see you have the windows cut out. it would be visible. just a thought

if you want to avoid drilling, a HS-65 will fit in, just need to loosen the upper mounts a bit for it to fit properly, others are HS 55 and T90, both require drilling though.

I didnt dril my tpro mg90. I mounted it a little higher using the stock single hole and the top mounting hole. lined up and works fine for me.

hmm? doesn't sit too tall does it?

my HS65 is doing its funky chicken dance again, was thinkin' of pickin' up a couple of '90's instead of shellin' out bit too extra for 1 HS65

yeah i sits like maybe 2-3 mm higher than normal. maybe 5 at the most. I have one mounted on front and rear axle with no ill effects.
