Hay guys, im wondering if i need to/if its worth soldering capasitors on the back of my big block motor? If so could some one advice on what capasitors and how many! Also any advice as to why capasitors are put there? Cheers |

Good post! I am not privy to the need and use of them myself. I have 2 PN 70t motors that are non BB and have capacitors and two 80T dual bb/neo mag motors without capacitors. Ive wondered why some have them and some don't. |

Now you have replied, what difference do the neo magnets make? I didnt order them when i did my motors (i have one as a spare lol) is it worth ordering them?

They allow a bit more torque.

The capacitors suppress electrical noise to prevent radio interference. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think brushed motors do not cause interference with DSM equipped vehicles, like the McRC. If you are using a brushless motor you don't need any capacitors.
