BWD offers a widener kit for the Micros, the nuts have a long shoulder to reach the axle ends. Don has had a issue with suppliers and almost everyone is looking for a set.

I got a call this morning...he broke a tap and was having trouble with them. Simply crazy as he got the first ten samples out without issue. Wont have another update from him till next week now.

the big deal is every ones micro is dusty. some people are tired of buying a certain brand of barrel nuts because they strip out continuously... we want the good stuff!

the alloy ones from don are nice, but i have 2 sets cuz 2 stripped out so dont expect them to be bomb proof..
its wasnt my gorilla hand (mechanic by trade) it was during 1 and 1.5 ft tumbles for both, the wheels (also bwd) just ripped off...

don works hard and makes good products (run them on my scalers and my comp crawlers), imo the barrels should be 1.5mm deeper..
the delay is the mfg as is usually the case..

I give up, i'll just stick to redcat axles for my width. I even emailed Don about some beadlock rings for my Vertex's, he replied once saying he had a set but after two more emails and two weeks with no response I guess he doesn't want to sell any

EDIT-- I didn't realize that he was having family issues at the moment or had no way of knowing but my apologies Don. I can wait as family is way more important

I'm confident Don will get the Micro barrel nuts done. He always does what he says without fail. He's had lots of family issues lately and that comes first my friends. I'm looking for some myself but I can wait.

I agree. His communication is sub-par, but he usually comes through in the end. I'll wait as long as I have to for my two sets of nuts.... well, maybe I'll get four, just in case this is an issue again. I too would like the micro vertex's, he's never answered me as to whether or not he intends to do another run of them.
