BWD Micro Barrel Nuts/Widener Kits - Update

Just got off the phone with my lathe guy. Looks like he is going to be another couple of weeks on these. I'm going to talk to a few other shops and see what I can come up with.

Good news and bad news. The good news is I found a shop to make the barrel nuts and thus ordered up 500 of the standard ones for the MCRC, and I also ordered 500 stubby ones for the Micro Trail Trecker. The bad news, they are telling me it'll be 2-3 weeks before they hit my floor. The other bad news...500 was the minimum quantity I could order so I'm gonna have to move a TON of barrel nuts to make my $$ back now

Cool. Actually I talked to the shop that made my Micro Vertexes previously just yesterday, and they are taking another look at them to see if they can come back down to the original price which keeps them possible to stock. They are still a poor investment because there is very little return even at the old cost/retail split, and last time I had them it took several months to get sell them all and get my cash back out of them. All that said, I like having them in stock, and need a set or two for myself at this point anway, so if they can go back to the old pricing I plan to get 50-100 sets of them.
