Default Styrene alternative ?

Hello fellow members of RCC,
ive searched for 3mm styrene but i cant seem to find it anywhere (plastic selling companies, hobby shops etc...) And since i dont have the years for making a order from some online site,i need to find a alternative. Some kind of plastic rod that doesnt glue with superglue,i preffer plastic cementing instead.
And,well have some streinght (i was thinking brass but it doesnt turn out really well).

Thanks

Why couldn't you use 3/32" or 1/8"? My LHS carries both flat-stock and tube in these sizes, and it's cheap!

Well im actually wanting to use 1/8" (3.17 mm),i could use 3/32'' (about 2.3 mm) but i prefer something thicker just because i need more streinght. But sadly my LHS doesn't have any, there's no chance of getting them to order some either ...

Kinda have to buy myself a soldering iron or some kind of torch for brazzing, ive tryed to make myself cages but they don't come out verry well(ugly joints, bad bends, and uncomfortable to work with). And since i'm not gonna abuse the rollcage so much, i think some kind of plastic is the way to go ( lighter too) ,oh and easier to work with.

The thinner styrene is plenty strong. If anything your joints will fail before the styrene does.

if you build it well, nice joints and such, the stryene will take any abuse.

Thank you all for the replies Unfortunately making someone order for me is easier said than done...For now i found a square meter of 3mm sheet and i will try to cut strips 3x3 mm and sand them down to size.Well im not sure it will work but if it does i'll have about 20 meters of styrene tube for about 5$ .
