Default Got Beater's?

Hey all,
So here is a few pics of my Bronco Beater on my backyard rock course and TT Trail.
It’s a Monogram

Ford Bronco model put on my Losi Trail Trekker. This is also my first shot at doing anything like this.
I like the idea of having a scale rig that shows the beating it takes, Starting off with a shiny new paintjob and overtime as crawling and trailing adventures unfold, add appropriate signs of abuse.
Note: Doing research for this idea I found that its actually much easier to start off with dents & weathering in mind to get a more realistic end product.
I chose to make things difficult.
This is obviously not for every build, I appreciate nice clean straight body’s too. But with all of the available body options for micro rigs, there is definitely some opportunity to have some fun with this.
Anybody done this before? Or at least built a beater from the get go.
Post up what you got!
Curious to see what anyone else has done, im sure I could learn a few things being a newb and all.
Thanks!

Losi Trail Trekker:
lipo
Hitec servo
solder weighted wheels
super swamper tires
custom bent lower links
relocated bat and esc
shortened shock springs
and a DDT predator motor in the mail.

Yours looks GREAT! I love beaters. This one was blue and pretty for all of 2 minutes. It's still one of my favorite ones to wheel!

I hear that chicks dig body damage

Is that a 1/20 or 1/24 bronco?

See now I feel bad, I owned that model in the past, painted it red, did it all up, then a couple years ago threw out all my old model because I needed shelf space!

If that's the case, why has every girl I've ever been with get pissed when my trucks end up on their sides? Oh wait, it's because it always happens in one of my daily-drivers just screwing around or prerunning a trail...

Awesome! Those are a couple of rad rigs. So what's the story on the hot rod rig? Looks great, is it a functioning Rc? Just curious.
Thanks for for posting!
