Well I plan on buying like ten sets of those rims in the near future just for tire options haha. But I'm itching to finish this thing. I think axle housings are in your future!

I'll send it with the 15 motors for rewinding. Needs soap and water washing and an alcohol bath before ready to ship.

I PROMICE to do you proud. I will make it very special. Does it come with panels or will I need to make my own? Not that it matters but that hood was pretty special...so I thought I would ask.

Again...Thanks for the honor!

Hi Dan, working on including the hood and body panels. Also planning to send an abuse chassis, if you want to kill it with sumo axles. Long story, I painted your fastback black. I'm still working on optimum painting solutions. I know this paint cures well on these parts.

I printed the hood mold and some of the 64 Chevy rims last night. Looking forward to seeing the parts this morning. BTW the black can be painted over, it's just the only reliable paint I have found so far. Think of it as a seal coat. Progress!

I am so excited!!! I will finally get a chance to use a few of my spare axles...I am up to of enough parts to build 10 complete rigs not including the 5 I have built. No where near Chevy55 but still well on my way to being an obsession!

I'm there with but with only 1 complete set.... I'm a novice to the micro crawler scene! I'm just waiting and looking everyday until the day I can get my hands in one of these amazing chassis!!

Dan, I would love to check out these chassis when you get them!!

Fungi these are stereolithography parts right? I use to run a Projet600HD using visijet clear, I did support structures and post processing.

Would have been sweet to make my own parts! too many customer orders

Projet 3500HDmax!

I'm using Visijet clear for now. It has some give, the "ABS" was brittle. They are working on new materials though. They are about to release a black material soon.

First one sold actually. lol

Nice! I really liked the clear material, pretty strong and easily sanded. It's too bad they made the machines take those resin cartridges, we had an old viper running Renshape SL black resin and I loved that stuff, finished up really nice with just a matte clear coat. Not sure they even make it any more.. Excited to see the new materials tho!
