That's what I want to do. How do you suggest taking them off i tried peeling them off but they just rip and leave a sticky residue.

Cover the area with a paper towel and wet it with Goo Gone. Let it soak a few minutes. Wipe off with dry paper towel. Might have to repeat step one. That stuff dries out my hands so you might want to wear gloves.

Should carry it. It's a small bottle so it can be missed on the shelf amongst all the other larger ones.

Sticker residue, unlike glue, can only work against a clean an solid surface. So wipe your fingers on natty rag. Take the stickers off and wipe the residue using firm pressure with your fingers. It takes all but 5 minutes and doesn't require any chemicals.

Update!!! Got a new motor for my trekker. it is a 1811 2900kv 12g motor (I think its a 12g). correct me if im wrong but i believe this is the biggest motor i have seen in a trekker/micro that is brushless. heres a link to the motor Radio Control Planes, Helicopters, Cars, Boats, FPV and Quadcopters - Hobbyking* .

heres the motor

it wasnt that hard to put in just had to do the same mods as i did to my previous 5g motor. here is a size comparison

It fit good on motor mount. fits the same as the 5g.

Here it is in the trekker. Only thing i had to do was grind the chassis a little because it was rubbing.

I am liking the motor a lot. For gearing i went with the biggest of the 3 stock pinions and stock spur. I did have to drill the hole in the pinion because the motor has a bigger shaft. I love the wheel speed to! Even tho its a higher kv an bigger pinion then with my older setup i still have a good low end crawling to and it doesn't cog much at all.

Just cutting the 2 side brackets and drilling the new hole in the motor mount. Look at post #1 and #47. If you need a better explanation and pictures i could do that.

I just got a used trekker and finished putting the 5g motor in last night. Very easy except I had to glue the pinion on. Guess it stretched from the stock motor. Great write up, I'm going to run 3s 1300 packs of they fit. Hopefully the motor can take it. I saw you did pulling tests on 3s with good result.

So after running the 2900kv 12g motor for awhile im kinda leaning towards putting the 5g back in. dont get me wrong i love the 12g but its not quiet the style of driving i want to do. the 5g has less cog and better at slow speeds. the 12g is better for faster style of crawling, like sand or dirt hill climbs. not so much technical rock crawling.
