I'm looking for any body finds, both from toys and from models that people have found fit well with the Trekker wheelbase. It strongly prefer a picture of the body on the truck, and maybe even a link if you got one!

The internet is such a mess with these it's just would be helpful to get a large group of them in one place!

Been exploring pictures to see what was done. Problem is most people don't cite their sources for where they got them. (specially the really good ones!)

My girlfriend told me I am not allowed to get another jeep wrangler. my First MRC is a purple jeep wrangler and my SCX10 is a Jeep wrangler too! (she does not understand.. it's a jeep thing!)

I will however appreciate pictures off any trekker. even If I'm told I cant get them I can look can't I?

There is 2 sizes, the one with no buttons on the roof fits purfect, the one with buttons is a little bigger and i use that size on my MRC, also saw a hummer and a few trucks that would work great also.. happy hunting

My dad used a Road Ripper (with the buttons on top) and it fit fantastic! but my GF would kill me if I bought another jeep body.

the road ripper bodies are great, I have a jeep and an FJ body from them, most of them fit with no or very minor fender trimming

I'm working on a Road Ripper JK right now. It came in a trade on a Trekker, but is going on RSMC axles, trans, and a home-brew chassis. It fit the Trekker great, but is wider on the RSMC axles without having the nasty scrub radius wideners give. Personally, the Trekker is a little narrow for this body.

trekker narrow.. wonder if Danally's offset beadlocks would do it..

You can run wideners, but they push the scrub radius out far enough that it puts the tires into the fenders front and rear edges while turning. The RSMC axles are flat out wider, not requiring the wideners, and maintaining correct steering geometry.

I swear they need to release thoes axles for sale sale as a full assembly. I can't tell how many times I hear of people using them mostly for their axles.

What wheelbase and body width do you need for these, I have a few different body's that may be suitable.

Losi axles are kick ass, and much better in my opinion than the stock RSMC axles. I just wish they would've made the center of the housing wider between the kingpins. The RSMC axles are better for the 1/20th scale type bodies (Road Ripper's JK), but not so well suited for the smaller 1/28th (xmods truck bodies) -1/24th bodies (most models and toys). That's where the Losi axles come in. Not to say a guy can't use whatever axles he has. As always the fit and finish is up to your discretion and opinion. My preference is to avoid wideners at all cost to avoid my tires swinging in an arc while steering (scrub radius).

Losi axles meausre out to around 3 3/4" wide outside the tires. Around 4" with wideners.

RSMC axles meausre right at 4" with narrow stock hexes and Trekker wheels/tires, 4 1/4" with Trekker hexes. God only knows about wideners or DANALLY's wheels...wide!

It's more about using the axle that fits your body the best with the least amount of extra width added to retain correct steering.

Here are a few pics of the JK I'm working on. Still a work in progress. So far I've lopped off the rockers, bumpers, and opened up the stock flairs. Soon enough she'll be rocking custom bumpers, sliders, roof rack, a little bigger tires, lights, and scale accessories.

Here's mine

1/25 Revell Hummer H2 "California" edition scale model. Wheelbase is about 5 inch.

Will be adding one more body soon, hopefully a pickup truck this time.
