Default Micro brass tuber/brushless/t-rex micro axles....

This is my attempt to build a micro "rock-racer". Losi micro rally electronics/motor. T-Rex micro axles... This thing has alot of torque... Wheelies in forward and reverse. I keep breaking universals though... im trying to decide whether i should try fabbing some , or lookin thru rc boat parts or whatever...

The one prob with the micro t-rex axles: they never made any linkage mounts or shock mounts or ANYthing for these axles. Had to build everything... i think i had these things for six months before i got motivated to start building

Good job on the build. and the linkage mounts look killer, i wanted to pick up a set of the t rex axles but i was on the late show.

Hey thanks. This thing flyz. You know the axles are a regular ring and pinion type, spooled (around 1:3). I think the stock losi worm drives are around 1:13. Yeah. It wont crawl very well cause theres no drag brake and the brushless system cogs at lo rpm if theres any load on it at startup. but if i just punch it, itll jump over just about anything... crazy. i had no idea how quick it would be... im tryin to motivate myself to post a runnin vid on YT.. i cant keep universals intact tho... weakest link in the drivetrain

Sweet rig!

As for the universals...try the redcat sumo drive lines. They can be modded the same way, they have the same ends to attach to the trany and axle, and they have universal joints that have tips that are twice the thickness as the losi! I don't break the u-joints anymore...but now I break my glue joints on the drivelines
