Clean..? For drying I usually just let it air dry. For cleaning? About once a year I tear the whole thing down to clean and lube all the gears and bearings. I use Belray waterproof grease which has worked well for me. Put it in both axles and the transmission after cleaning everything with motor spray. But between runs I usually don't clean my rig. Looks more badass covered in muck.

Transmission and axles are full of marine grease and servo and esc are plasti dipped. But I've been spraying wd40 on the ball cups and power switch along with shocks to help stop the rust

Yeah. It rusted off after being around some ocean water. Then every time I went in the local river it would rust up again. I use alite wd to stop it from sticking.

Compressed air and rubbing alcohol. After its dry, I spray it with rubbing alcohol, wipe the bad parts, then blow it off.
