It does crawl pretty good. With the 3-link rear it crawls all over, although you have to watch tire placement. The rear is so flexy, and the front leafs being stiffer, it will rollover if your not careful. I mainly run it in stock truck form with the camper shell on. It does get top heavy on some crawls, but it is still very capable. It suprises me all the time! It will climb a parking block like nothing! I would love to upload a video, but I'm not very computer literate. I just figured out how to post pics! Does anyone know if you have to host your video somewhere else like YouTube first? Or is there a way to just post straight from your computer?

i have the smc 4.5 for my yota and once the leafs start to sag it works alot better imo. i rest something with decent weight on top of the whole rig so it keeps them compressed. gave it a lower ride height. it also likes alot of weight in the wheels.

AWESOME!!! Hoping you don't mind, but the swappable bed/cage concept may find its way into my garage.

Don't mind at all! Glad to provide some inspiration. I feel that these chassis' are perfect to do a truggy rear off of.

I put the truggy rear back on. Thought I would post a flex shot. I think it's decent.

Make a tool box in the cage to hide the lipo

I have a fuel cell that hides the Losi 180mah lipo's, but that's a new battery I'm trying out. The new battery fits under the bed of the truck just fine, but not in the cage. I'm lovin' the new battery though. Thunder Power 325mah 65c, plenty of power!

Ok, I know that this is totally unrelated, but I had to vent my frustrations.
Just so y'all know, chasing your 3 year old around the house with your 1/20 Camaro micro-t drifter, BAD IDEA!!!

Had to go to the laundromat today, so I thought I would take Ol' Blue out for some crawlin'! Had a little tumble though, well I shouldn't say little. She fell about 7 feet! Luckily the rocks were covered in moss, and the ground in leaves. She did suffer a broken leaf, and the inside rear-view mirror broke off!?!? Oh well, that's why we keep spare parts! Here's a carnage pic for y'all.

And here's the rocks she fell off of. They are about 6-7 feet tall!

I bought an extra set with my chassis just for this reason. I'm really surprised that the styrene held up! I did find a break in my rockslider, but a little CA glue, and she's good as new!

So it was always my intention to put lights in this thing, but I'm not an electrician, and I've never worked with Led's before. Nedless to say there were a lot of failed attempts! I did however leave it set up for lights so that I could wire them in later. Well, I finally figured it out! ( I know, I'm a slow learner! ) so now the night crawlin' is on! here's a pic:

I have to say the headlights are the best scale accessory that I've added to this truck yet! Night crawlin' on my outdoor rock course is so much fun! Although, it makes shooting video almost impossible. But watching the headlights on the rocks as the truck bobs around adds a whole new sense of realism. It's pretty cool!
