R.Billy Rob's first build. (Blue Toyota)

Hello, my name is Rob, and I'm a micro addict. It all started innocent enough, but now it just keeps getting worse, and I can't stop!
Nor do I want to. This stuff is fun! I'm new to RC's, and got into the micro's because I really liked the whole scale aspect. I started my first build with a Trail Trekker. The body is a 1/20 Lindburg Baywatch Toyota. For power I went with a Danally 80t stroker with 58t spur gear. The chassis is a CrawlerX 5.5, and the servo is a Hitec HS-65MG. The wheels are also Danally, with Boggers, and Dirtmodeler beadlocks. And the esc is de-cased stock Losi. Anyway, here are some pics. Enjoy!

I also made a truggy version so I could switch them out. Here's a pic of the suspension:

I'm a sucker for a clean styrene build, though just getting into brass stuff myself. This rig has me drooling, very nice work! Now, if you'll excuse me...gotta find my drool rag.

Re: R.Billy Rob's first build. (Blue Toyota)

Thanks guys for the kind words! This was my first attempt at styrene, and will probably stick to it for awhile. Although, when I have the space and money, I would love to get set up to work with brass. My first real job was working at a production jewelry company where I was the lead solderer. So brass soldering, and working in small scale, is right up my alley. But for now I'm limited to working on the kitchen table.
