| Project: Militia!
Hey guys! I been lurking around facebook and instagram and wanted to share my build on here as well. I run @The_Micro_Militia On Instagram and Micro RC Man (There are hundreds of pictures posted on up instagram) And i figured id give RCCrawler another shot, something about it just bothers me! But i love the community here. Lots of good guys, so without any more jibber jabber. Heres the beginning of the project, still havent decided on a body. I ordered motors and rims from danally! Hopefully getting those soon to power this thing, it will use a 90t from danally and should have a ton of HR & MRC Goodies on it as well. So far: The Crawler X 5.5 SMC ex Chassis! P.S. This is my first Crawler X chassis ive built so if i did something wrong on it please call me out on it! xD And... I cant decide on tires... Really leaning toward the thompsons! They'll run the rims with some offset, hopefully to accomadate a larger body. And of course! Please check out my page, im aways updating, showing off others rigs, my personal rigs! Take care guys, Will have more assembled tomorrow! Last edited by xDiGiTaL SmoKe; 06-13-2014 at 03:38 AM. |

Good to see you are starting on a project! I think the stuff I sent should be there today or tomorrow! As for tires...of those 3 the Mickies are the best. I am partial to the boggers on most my rigs but those mickies are a close second. The others just don't work well for me. I'll keep watchin! |

MT Claws and/or Boggers if you want the best traction. For my use in comp style crawling, the MTs on front with Boggers on the rear work great. Both with the small lugs clipped.

Okay... Once i mounted it up it was meant to be lol. This thing is dooooopeeee. I love how it turned out so far. i have a long way to go before im done but im diggin it! Danally's goodies come in tomorrow so hopefully this thing wont be sittin on rubbers without a rim xD Take care guys! =] Lookin good in my eyes, next step is to get rid of that sticker on top and figure out how to fill the button holes. x( Edit: Forgot to say, i moved the chassis in .5 inches so it matches axles line up perfect with wheel wells! Thanks for all the compliments guys! Sorry i couldnt be more helpful on the body, it was given to me and im just now seeing that comment. But year it looks pretty accurate to that one posted. Now that the chassis is mostly done till i get some time to run it im going to start with the body! Couldnt be happier with the rims/tire combo, matches up great with the ride height and overall look of the rig! I just finally finishes squishing electronics in it and want to run it haha. And here is is posted up next to my first build (which wasnt that grat ) But more to come! I have to clean up the paint job a bit.. Kind of wish he would have left it as is but. Oh well.. Edit: Totally forgot to mention, the body is magnet in the rear and velcro'd in the front! When these pictures were taken the body was just sitting atop the chassis. Heres what i have in mind: Hitch Roof Rack Simple Led Kit (?) Stacks (?) What do you guys think!? Last edited by xDiGiTaL SmoKe; 06-18-2014 at 07:41 PM. Reason: Forgot information! |

Alright, i didnt have much time to mock up.. But whattya think? :\ Obviously nothing is painted or mounted up, just mock up. I think the stacks need to be taller.... (If not scrap them) and the roof rack might need to be scrapped as well.. Lol, Difficult to decide. |

Lose the rack, and either bring the stacks to roof level or lose them too. Just my .02.... Sent from a beat down , overworked , and abused iPad ....... |
