Default So So 4-runner

Got a package in today with my next micro project, I've effectively moved up to larger scales but this one was the right price
I'd like to emphasize that this was purchased as a project and that I am in no way unhappy with my purchase.
I have a nasty habit of letting my projects scope creep, not this time I'm going to get it running and use it. That's it.
I opened the box and was greeted with this

upon further inspection we've got a ways to go lol.

I immediately began tearing it apart, more work appearing before my very eyes!

First thing first I tried to take the tires off, two came off, and two didn't. No matter, bubble bubble bubble

While they boiled I grabbed my trusty xmod bits, more useful than you think

By the time I got done finding that, tires were good to go and I slapped them on some of my mgcrawler rims

Popped out the servo and found this, time for a new case.... Probably

Added some lower suspension links to stiffen everthing up, worked like a charm.

Finally I slapped the body back on with the new adjusted wheelbase, looks promising me thinks

Then I got a little bored and the wraith came out,

Looks good so far. Seems to be a decent little project. I'm curious about that FJ lid, is it 1/20 scale? It looks bigger than the 4runner.
