Honestly not sure, I don't have any go fast rigs. The material is very strong, and the tire should take most of the impact. I think they should be ok. The first design will be stronger than the spoke version.

Here are some other images.

The Tractor Tire rim with eight holes and extra hardware.

A combination stock style rim with 1/8" offset and integrated PVC style bead lock. Prototype! I don't know if the screws will strip out.

The 1/4" offset Thompson Classis II with fake bead lock.

Thats a problem bud, you need atleast one micro go fast rig in your collection...They are a blast!

I was more worried about exploding the hex mount area with 4s

I still plan on picking up a few sets of rims from you. Once my wallet recovers from my daughters 16th b-day

Digg'n all the new designs

I like that M/T. Can you make it to where a guy could bolt on some of your awesome bead lock rings?

Thanks for the good words. I'm going to post a pic of the Thompson in primer today or tomorrow.

Yeah Chevy, I know... I been meaning to get a go fast one. And with 4s, yeah they might explode. lol

There is a big difference in the width of the fake bead-lock, and one that can be attached with screws.

Yes you can. You just have to keep the temperature below 160 degrees F durring the process. I've found flat Tamiya paints also do well even without primer.

Here is a picture of the bead-lock rim. It took a couple revisions to get it where it works pretty well.

Here is a picture of the three tractor tire rims I printed. I need to narrow the rim about .010" and enlarge the diameter by .030" and it'll be even awesomer!

The tire is really nice and soft. Softer than a pencil eraser, but not too soft. I like 'em!

I'm behind in drawing rims in 1/4" offsets, but I made progress on my leaf spring chassis today.

From what I was able to find they both use the same 7mm hex. The sumo uses a slightly larger nut and stub size. It should work just fine.

I couldn't leave the tractor rim alone. I wanted to make it a little more realistic, so I added the raised part in the middle and added a slope to make the outer most edge a little thinner. See the cross-section to see what I mean. This rim design has 1/4" offset, twice that of the first version. The 1/8" offset doesn't really work for the leaf spring chassis, as far as clearance for turning goes. It clears just fine for the stock four link chassis. The original intent "to keep the tires under the body" might not work so well as turning will be limited. I think most will want the 1/4" offset version. I will post images of chassis and tires mounted when I get my other tire order in.

I haven't printed this new version yet.

Here's the tractor tire rim if anyone is interested. The dimensional changes I made to the rim makes it fit perfectly. The aesthetic changes make it look a lot better. I can make these available if anyone wants them. Thanks!
