Lots of people asked me about buying the chassis I made for my 64 Chevy truck build. I am making it available very soon. Here is the final design. I changed it to use some of the tiny screws from the Trail Trekker instead of bulky 2-56 screws. All of the gray cross-members are not needed. You can remove some of them and it will still be strong. There are an assortment of laser-cut cross-members to choose from. Leave off the steering servo mount if you like. Swap them in and out as you see fit. Model car bodies can be attached to the gray cross-members and easily removed by taking out the small screws. There are several optional parts, and even some spare parts are included. Waiting on hardware to make up the kits. Pricing will be a couple dollars more than a similar product. This chassis has a 5.00 wheel base. I will offer this chassis in wheel base increments of .25" Won't be long now!

Bad ass man.... How's the flex? Is it similar to the smc chassis?

Looking good! Kinda new to the custom chassis crowd for the Micros, but are the leaf springs included? And do you have a website where all of your product is listed?

Yes everything in the picture is included except the tiny screws which come from the donor truck (Trekker). In fact you get 6 leaf springs in case of damage in use or construction. I have not finished the website yet. I received the delrin yesterday and have started the cutting process. I will create a vendor page in the next few days. Thanks for the interest.

I had been having issues with finding the best settings for cutting delrin. Then I had to take care of some things before the cold set in. I'll be back at it soon. Sorry!

Looks amazing what method are you using for the cuts?

Laser cutting the delrin is difficult to get clean cuts without the parts melting back together. It was no problem making parts for myself. If a part wouldn't separate, or broke I, just cut another. I knew I could do better though. Well now I can concentrate on products and not waste time trying different frequency, power and speed setting combinations. This truly was a breakthrough.

I have to say I'm definitely interested! I'm on my second "other guy" chassis build, and I honestly can't wait to try one of yours. There's a few refinements on your chassis that I really like. Are you still going to offer them in 1/4 inch length increments?
