Default stock brushed motor help please

i found a nine tooth brass pinion someone mentioned on another thread (i dont remember which sorry) and ordered it but i can figure out how to secure it to the shaft... do i superglhe it or just force it on? i dont want to ruin it but once i get this pinion on it doesnt matter if i can get it off because its the best i could find. any advice would be great
