Default Losi micro crawler ford dump build (with pictures)

My first time using styrene it is 2mm thick and i used a lot of super glue The dump is scaled after an 8X8 dump box on a 1997 ford f450
I was not able to find s ford f450 of f350 a reasonable price so I bought a f150 the body style I ordered a 4.5 crawlerx leaf spring chassis I will be using it at 5 inch

Build inspiration 1997 ford Super Duty Custom 4x4 10 lug Wheels

I 3d printed dually adapters

Started the dump box

My CrawlerX 4.5 leaf spring chassis

Made some extended drive shart out of carbon fiber and to cut the carbon fiber perfectly square I spun the rod in a drill and cut it with a Dremel as it was spinning

I found a Ford model that I am going to use

Found this at radio shack and thought it would make a nice plow light

Made a mount for the body and added my brushless motor on my flipped transmission i hope to get more weight up front because the weight of the dump body

So then i can ass 2 scew to hold it

After the body was mounted I painted the really chrome grill

I painted the dump box black and started to bend up some styrene rod to make the arm that hold the tarp

Added some more bends to the arm and added some tube that the arm will fit in side so it will rotate

Added the bracket that will hold the rolled up tarp and I drilled a hole and inserted the larger tube in so the tarp will rolled up smoothly

Fit the arm and the tarp

Cut the material I am going to use for the tarp

Mounted the tarp up

Added a hadle

Glued a plastic bead on to the handle

Added some paint

Painted the rest of the box and screwed the side boards one

I'm sorry for getting sidetracked a couple times. But I finally have the rims you asked me to create. They are available for immediate ordering from Shapeways.

Here is a picture of a similar type of rim I just received from them. These are 3D printed in rugged nylon! They take paint very well. You will not be disappointed!

Shapeways link.

The front rims are .125" offset, (to make them farther apart) and the rears are -.200" offset, (to make them closer together). If you have a Losi McRC axle it can be used for the rear, and a trekker axle in the front to make it look as realistic as possible. It's not just two rims stacked together... ;)

Use a nano servo and a wireless winch remote , Then you don't need a extra channel.

I have tested using servos, I was unable to achieved the travel I was looking for, so now I am going to try a piston made with the micro geared motors. The suggestions were greatly appreciated
