Since we're totally of topic and talking mega trucks... I thought I'd chime in with an actual Ford. To be honest, I'm not a Ford guy, but I do want to do a replica of this truck. Its the John Deere Bronco. But to scale out properly, I feel the tractor tires should only be about as tall as a set of Baja Claws. The tractor tires we have seem a little too tall to be in scale with a 1:24 body.

This is what I want! Soft compound Micro tires that look more realistic for the scalers we built from the model kits available to us, current RC$WD swampers look badass, but still a bit too big to be purely scaler on my Sumo under a 1/24 body-Hopefully I can put up some pics soon...
So, Ground Hawgs, like the model kit ones but lettering on both sides maybe? and not a scale 50 inch tire, like represent a 38 maybe? these trucks don't NEED beadlocks, and smaller diam wheels would be nice too-Maybe some old school military style tires? make a Make a vigilante zombie hunting hot rod pickup then!!

Just to let you guys know where this is at, RC4WD told me they approve 1 new tire. If sales of the new tire are positive they will consider more. That said I selected 7 very aggressive "extreme off road" models to choose from. I wanted to go with what would appeal to the masses and likely draw the most sales. Think of buying this tire as an investment in future offerings. The voting is going on at the Micro Rock Crawlers FB page as stated.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1494172200820517/

If they agree to more tires down the line I will try to stay involved with it. There are 4 different excellent a/t tire models that RC4WD already has licensing with their manufacturers. Created at Rok Lox size, they would equate to running 37's on 19 inch rims when put on a 1:20 build. Top of the sizing range but totally possible and would be true to scale. I will try to make that happen should this all pan out to future additions. So get your asses over there and vote.

The Miclaw may disappear all together, the miniqlo is discontinued from my understanding. I let rc4wd know of the interest in a large tire over 2" and suggested another the size of the Rok Lox for us scale builders. Keep in mind they are producing tires essentially for the common stock trekker owner. If it's not fully functional on a bone stock trekker I'm doubtful they'll produce it. We shall see!

So have they got a design in mind? I'm not on Facebook, so I have no clue how the voting went.

I hope they make a set similar to the Miclaw miniqlo whatever you call them. Obviously the hardest thing to get. HobbyKing Basher Rocksta can use all these tires too, and I think that little thing is gonna be pretty popular. I bought one on a whim- my first crawler.

BTW I got the last set of new MiClaws in China I believe.. somehow. On their way to me. One set won't last forever though. Need more of that size- or maybe slightly smaller?

I wish they would make a tire with the same height as the Miclaws but just a tiny bit smaller width wise i always wanted a set of miclaws but never was able to get my hands on a set.

So how's everyone liking the new tires? I just bought the Scramblers and the Rock Creepers, hope they're performers! Is the new compound an improvement?

The scramblers are too big for my taste, but the creepers are spot on. so far so good, but snow is covering any of my actual rock for outside testing purposes. on the indoor course, they walk it like nothing.

I think they both look great. Just got some Rock Creepers, and am working on getting them on some new Rage beadlocks. As for the Scramblers, I'll get some pretty soon just to have something different to throw on my micro tuber. Eventually, my MiClaws will wear out....

Looking sexy!
