Default How to put massive weight in tires with internal beadlocks?

I have 1.0 wheels and they're internal beadlocks. How can I add ALOT of weight to my wheels? Also... should I run stock foams? I will be running light trails with dirt hills so I need traction since I have low wheel speed.

All the info is the same as when you posted about this in the tire section.
It's BBs or wrapping solder around the wheels. As far as foams most people run no foams in the micros unless they have a heavy rig (for a micro)
in that case if youre heavy or have larger tires like miclaws or RC4WD scramblers you could try the crawler Innovations micro foams. Either way if your tires are glued or sealed tight with bead locks don't forget to vent the tires.

Personally I like using lead tape. It's a 1/4" thick, and self adhesive so it's easy to use. They sell it for tennis players to wrap their rackets in to give them more weight. I want to say it was less than $10 for around 100' of it.

Many use solder wrapped around the inside of the rim. I have found that because solder is a mixture of lead and tin, the actual weight of solder is about the same as good old copper wire. I like using copper wire because it is safer to work with than lead based solder. You can apply this wire to a stock rim, but you have to dismount the glued on tire at least on one side. Remove the foam and wrap the wire around the inside. I make aftermarket rims that can have extra weight added. I have glue rims and beadlocks. My website and shapeways store links are in my sig if you are interested.

This is how I add weight to bead lock rims.

This rim uses steel washers to add weight.

Fungi I was looking on your store and I see your beadlock wheels but I don't see and beadlock rings. Do you just use the rings from the factory wheels? Thanks.

The rings are not 3d printed, they are engraved and cut on my laser. Please visit my website for the complete story.
