Oh well at least I have some stump pulling power to clear the double and triples now .
how is the start up and low speed control?

Can the stock ESC handle that motor or is it eventually die because of it?

Yours is a fatty and needs to loose some lead for wheelies. I'll fatten mine up in a few weeks for the comp. Yours worked really good last weekend .

It's very predictable and surprised the shit out of me from the start.

I've had no problems as of yet. I ran it for about a half hour the other night and got the motor and speedo warm from cramming the throttle over the cardboard.

I'll hammer on it again tonight and see if anything is going to pop.

What pinion did you end up using? I tried the stock pinion, but it won't lock onto the motor shaft and align with the spur. I can get 50% contact with the spur/pinion mesh at best.

I run the 12 tooth from Robinson Racing for the 18MT. Click here!

Yeah, and he had more wheel speed from his MRC than a nitro T-Maxx!!!!

Damn thing was fast. Will gladly reproduce the setup in mine.

I have too much fun showing off the power of this little beast.

The drivetrain is still working like a charm with no issues.

I installed a set of the new Losi MRC shocks and was blown away on how smooth and sturdy these little things are. They come with two sets of pistons (3 hole and 1 hole) and some new blue springs. I installed the 3 holes in the front with 25wt Losi oil. In the rear I put a 3 hole on the right rear with 35wt Losi oil and on the left I run the 1 hole with 35wt. This is a great starting point if you don't know what weight to run.

I also installed a set of the CVD's from Losi (available really soon, stay tuned). Just like any other CV shaft you'll get a lot more steering so you can carve out a little on the knuckle to gain more throw in both directions. I beat the snot out of these for two days at our finals this weekend with no wear at all.

Dang, I need to look more closely at your rig. I didn't know you were running cvd's up front as well. Those shocks were awesome BTW. I got home that night and told the wife I am getting a mini now. She laughed, but will laugh harder when I order it. he he he
