I'd love to have one of these new Losi crawlers with a flat fender body. Do you guys think a Tamiya Wild Willy body would work?

no the wild willy is 1/10 the losi mrc is 1/18 but there are loads of other choices or just pickup a night crawler and then you can have a wild willy body

The scale makes no difference. 1/10th scale bodies are by far the more scale choice. It more comes down to wheelbase and width.

According to that thread linked above, the Wild Willy body is about 6.25" WB...as in, smaller than an MRC's by 1 1/4". ;)

I dont know about the wild willy but my mrc based flatfender came stock at 7.5in w/b and I have stretched it to 9 1/4in. with tlt wideners to make it more stable. everyone at the scaler comps seems to love it. here is my build thread and a few pics. Lil Joe my mrc scaler 1/10th scale jeep from today ![]() yesterday ![]() what the body looks like when new at 7.5in w/b

That is cool, wheelinjp! I think a MRC/Wild Willy project is totally worth the work! I might have to do this. I also want to do a MRC monster truck at some point. I've never done any RC building from scratch, but there are so many cool projects I want to try after seeing things like this on the internet. Now I just have to find a job so I can start blowing money again! :-( Anybody want to hire an engineer in PA?
