That's a bummer to hear. How many packs did you have through it? With this Mini having the ability to run for almost 2 hours on 1 charge it's possible that the motor can be overheated. Could you provide me some details via PM please.
Thanks,
Rich

the stock servo has died (lhs is sending it back to losi for me)
replaced it with a hitech which died (not sure is their is an issue with the receiver or esc), but my lhs replaced it right away

I think you guys need to contact Horizon hobbies. I have owned several Losi rc's and they have great customer service..

I agree. I had a problem with my Mini Baja when I bought it and Losi fixed it in no time! They will stand good for their product if it's their fault.

Are people's MRC's dying while being run stock or modded?

My losi died today. The motor is fried, but the servo works great. What are available for replacement motors that work with the stock setup.

Did you notice how old this tread is? If it was a problem it isn't anymore.

Yesterday I replaced my stock motor with another one, which was a few months old. So today I go out to take a run on the rocks and the same thing happened again dead motor!!!!!! Plus I am running completely stock electronics and the stock battery that came with it. It seems like each week I need to replace something on my mrc!!

Mine is not dead but acting up ..... it seems the battery wires that attach to the ESC are loose or the connection is bad. If the wires move at all during articulation etc the power cuts out to the receiver. If I "jiggle" the battery wires (just so) I can get it to power back up. Is it possible to "re solder" these connections ? I have not tried to take the ESC apart yet, but at first glance this seems to be a time consuming project.
