I started off by filling shocks w/ 35wt. Flipped the trans/motor/skid 180 degrees.(helped w/torque twist big time

)This made enough room to fab an upper-link plate to mount the ESC. Fabbed another plate for rear uppers and BINGO, reciever fits nicely! Got rid of battery/upper-plate all together! Moved shock mounts in to the holes left by removing the upper plate.(a little drilling was required). At this point the chassis had a lot of lateral twist due to removing the upper deck

. A couple aluminum chassis spacers from an old NN (perfect width!), a little more work with the drill and now she's super rigid

. Added 3/4oz to all four courners, reconfigured the stock battery into a "horseshoe" that cradles over the servo. These tweaks made a HUGE difference. The stock mini reminded me alot of a Scorpion in stock trim TIPPY. Now this little rig is freakin amazing me! It drives like a little comp rig, planted to the line you chose.
The tires are strange, the compound is almost silicone like, Very bouncy. The new blue compound 1.9 tires Losi has coming out will help alot.
