I lowered the body 1/5in and the chassis 1/4in, limited the shocks, and added some weight to the wheels. I was running the battery on the front servo but since lowering the chassis the battery wont fit. I have ordered an 800mah lipo that should fit behind the servo on the upper link mount. Runtime has been over 1 hr using the stock 1100mah battery. ![]() ![]() ![]() Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WR0L36h8gI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXuQTY0m5wk

Wow, nice job on the phonebook/chair combo, lol. Need to roll over that cat though. Loved the electrical tape bridge too. I need an MRC.

You can run your stock batteries up front on the upper links, just rotate the skid and tranny 180 degrees

looks good but its a shame you went for looks over performance with the battery location sacrifice to slam the body ;) well this just forces you to do some modding to relocate it! yours is loud. is everyone's this loud? I got mine and thought "this is 'loud'?". maybe I got a good one because mine doesn't sound any louder than a tlt with a 55t and pede trans.

I read somewhere that the truck is loud so I guess its normal. I have thought about adding some thicker grease to the trans and diffs to try and quiet it down. Thanks for the replies everyone | |

Thanks to upnover1 and RCMFMaxxMan for the tips on lowering the battery I turned the skid and trans around and also flipped the electronics plate over. This gives just enough room to mount the battery inside the chassis. It is wedged between the chassis and shocks. Its not wedged in super tight but its also not going to go anywhere either. Even thought it looks like it just barely touches the shocks it does not limit suspension travel any I still plan to mount the ESC and Receiver on the rear links but have not had the time. It will stand on its side with no problems. ![]()

Did you notice any reduction in torque twist from rotating the trans, (assuming it was lifting the front right to degin with)?

Maybe a small amount. But I need to do some more testing. I rotated the tranny for the increased room to mount a battery in the front. Locating the battery on top of the servo and placing more preload on the left rear shock took care of most of the tq twist.
