Default 2.2 tires and wheels?

Is anyone trying these yet? I figure its too much weight to try to get rolling, but honestly since I have started driving this thing everything I used to know has been obliterated.

i saw stick to the 1.9's. thats the whole point of this rig isn't it? to have something smaller? I thought about it just for fun but really hasn't been worth changing out and then changing back from 2.2's when there is precious time to have fun wheeling it as a 1.9. I'm thinking though, it could be tuff on the little motor and gears. not necessarily weight but diameter. if you want to run your 2.2 treads, then reduce them 1.9. that would be cool

my buddy got a losi mini and i put my 2.2 beadlocks on it with new panthers and the servo wouldnt turn the wheels and if you did it manually that tires hit everything.

but my axial looked rediculous with the 1.9 wheels and tiny claws

I ran a little bit with 2.2 tires/wheels. Looked like a mini super. It opend my eys on how poor the stock tires worked on my rocks. It climbed right up things with the blue compound 2.2 claws that had the stock 1.9s just spinning. There was not enough clearance to turn the front wheels all that much but it was fun for a few minutes.

So what are some good 1.9's to put on? I drove today back to back with my AX10 with real rock claws and yeah the stock rubber compund does not grab well at all on steep rocks. They seem really bouncy too. Guess I have to cut the foams but that's going to be a PITA with the stock ones being glued. The blue 1.9 rock claws will fit any 1.9 beadlock right? Don't feel like dropping 120.00 for the Losi alum beadlocks. I really feel like lowering the gearing also with 1.9's, truck seems way to tall geared to me???

I am going to wait for the "Blue" Compound claws to start shipping and will probibly just mount them to the stock wheels.

I'm thinking maybe some stadium truck sized 2.2's like proline gladiators, bowties, or a losi blue compound st mini pin of some sort. ST tires are about 4" tall where as the stock tires are 3.75. So they are close in size but the downside is you have to make them yourself with 1.9 sidewalls if you want to keep your 1.9 wheels, which I probably will want to because if we comp these here at orcrc, the rules will probably be 1.9 wheels only.
