I got to drive one sunday at the lhs. I was instantly hooked.

It stock for now. Mods soon to follow.

I drove it some more and needed some changes so mods started tonight...

I unscrewed upper tray and used a 1/8'' drill bit and drilled out the holes so the balls for the shocks would bolt up..

I unbolted all 4 bolts on each side of the skid plate, slide the driveshafts apart. Then flipped the trans around so motor is now facing towards front of the truck. Make sure reverse throttle on the radio.

Kind of new here but all you did makes sense.
By the way since I don't have a MRC yet. (coming by UPS, hopefully Friday) what the heck are the two clear plastic things up by the servo?

The clear things are some lights I added, for night crawling.

Does flipping the trans around really help with the torque twist?

is there a reason that you put the shocks on the inside of the frame on one end and outside on the other?

i did the same to mine to be able to fit the batt. back there ontop of the 3link, he probibly did it for the same reson

No reason really. Just seeing how it would react. But I need to outboard the front shocks in order to fit the battery pack on the front links and in board the rears.

What color did you get ?

i haven't even had time to look at it real close yet. have the batteries charging right now. i do see a lot of things that i want to change already though. got to get that cg down quickly.

I made some mounting plates of out some scrap lexan I had laying around.
