Thanks, they are 3Racing shocks but they are from the Mini LST. I'm very impressed with them.

Yeah, I looked a bit more in to it and the Mini Inferno shocks are longer. The Mini LST set is 66mm while the Mini Infernos are 81mm. I'll let you know how they work. I have a couple of sets at the shop.

those rigs are looking really good, zach! I love the beginnings of a new class. reminds me of the days before there was any crawler specific parts on the market and the only way to get tires and whatever else you wanted was by experimenting. good times, but I am excited to see what will come about in the crawler market soon for these little guys. Do you have any other custom mods planned?

I'm having a blast with them. And yes, there are other mods in the works.

I know its overkill but hey, it works well. I copied mwrightt's idea of using an Axial servo mount plate and a Hitec 5995TG servo, lets just say it will throw this little thing around like its a play toy, wait, it is

After I did this one, I had to do the tuber too

I don't think that's going to be a situation I am going to have to deal with but if it is then its all you.

Its crazy how much torque/weight this thing has though.

yeah.
I really wanted to throw on my ds 8711 but was afraid of breaking things.
the screws and mount posts on the axle seem so little and weak compared to an axial plus I don't know how strong the knuckles are yet.
so I opted to start small on the servo power, but it still throws these tires around with ease.

I didn't want to be broken down for this weekend!

I'm wondering about the servo plate screws but I figure as long as the end points are set right it shouldn't have anything to really push against and break.

Hey Zach...I had made a set in the soft, super soft and clay compound as well for my 1.9...I just hacked up the crushers for their sidewalls and glued them on real quick to see if they even would work..Very impressive I must say

Hey, as for the axial posts (links) you used to stop the chassis plates from flexing, do you know what size they are? I was looking at them online and they make them everywhere from 7x10mm to 7x70mm?

I believe they are 55mm. I had to add about 3mm worth of spacer too though.

I just bolted the 55mm ones in, and didn't care about the little bit of flex in the chassis.

Just Zach- I'm a newbie and just bought my MRC two days ago. I am curious what chassis you are using? Is it a custom one you built yourself or is it available somewhere. Is there anyway I could get pics from a side view with the bodie off? I don't wanna steal your ideas but I really like the way it looks and would like to make mine crawl/look better. Thanks and nice job with yours
