Default Shoei1 MRC

Well I picked one up last night. First I put some wieghts in the wheels and I was lucky enough that losi didnt glue the tires on well. The next mod that I wanted to do is Make a servo/Lipo mount. Well I did the CAD this morning and sent it to the laser cutter.

I plan on picking up a Hitec HS-225mg does anyone know how that compares to the stock servo.

Looks good. It there enough clearance at full lock steering?
I used a full size servo in mine it really is not that much bigger than the stock one. But it looks like a tight fit for you already so it may put you over the top.

Well in the end the servo mounts will be cut off to clear the tire. So the servo will be mounted on one side and also have servo tape holding it down.

So i have a question for the MRC owners. i was driving and last night and the ESC just stopped. i took it home check the out put with a meter and it had only like 2volts comming out. Is the ESC done? Some help would be nice

With The Slock Battery When It Dies The Steering Will Work But The Motter Will Not So I Would Check The Battery.

yeah go with a bec that way you can run the servo off it's own battery and not cause issues with the esc.
