| That body is going on my 2nd Losi MC. Here are some pics of my Losi at Nor-Calrcrc's last comp where I took 2nd place (I don't remember when the last time I competed was, so this was a surprise to me even though I knew I would beat Nluv). Everyone who watched this rig during my runs saw how it stuck to the rocks like a spider. The combination of the DNA R/C Products Thrasher beadlocks and new Losi Blue compound Claws were awesome. The stock wheels with 1.5 oz of weight added with the Losi Claws weighed in at around 3.35 oz each. The DNA Thrasher beadlocks with the Losi Claws were over 5 oz. each. I was a little worried about the weight at first but after running these wheels ALL day day at our comp, this rig climbed up some amazing lines and fell numerous times without breaking anything. The only problem with these rims is now I need a set for all three of my Losi MC's. |

Nice Badger... I'm loving my DNA 1.9 Thrashers also. They seem to be the perfect addition to these damn minis.

Here is the latest upgrades on my Comp Losi Mini Crawler: I didn't have time to finish my 2nd comp rig so I tore some of the parts out of the DNA chassis rig and moved that tranny with the metal diff lockers and Holmes Hobbies Torque Master Mini motor over to this rig. I had to swap out the Micro HS-82 servo for a Mini HS-5245MG servo because apparently they don't make aluminum servo horns for micro servos and I cracked the plastic horn at the last comp. The new servo fit almost perfect on my original mount. Next I installed a set of the Losi MC aluminum shocks (LOSB1439) with 1000wt oil in them. Swapped out the stock plastic hexes with the new Losi 12mm Alum hexes(LOSB1461) Mounted up some Losi Claws (blue) on the new Losi Aluminum beadlocks. These were by far the easiest beadlocks I have mounted tires to yet. And finally installed my Losi Mini Grappler body that was custom painted by CrawlerGraphics Last edited by badger; 12-16-2008 at 09:53 AM. |

The rig ran really good at the comp yesterday, just treacherous courses to deal with. After the comp was over and as the rain started to come down, Dean, Ted, Brandon and I made a few passes all the way down and back on the drainage ditch rock racing our mini's. It was an absolute blast in the rain and mud. Here is the rig after yesterdays fun. |

Stock ESC and my motor? Seems hit or miss with the combo.

| Holy crap does your motor light up the tires on this rig! I had no issues at all with my setup all day, even during the rock racing session, the extra wheel speed made it so much fun! Chino63 was running your motor as well and didn't seem to have any issues either. If I do start having problems, I'm going to install a aftermarket ESC before I part with your motor. |

I had issues with mine, and a few other guys have too. It could have been the stock battery in my case though. I have a faster wind of the motor that will pop wheelies on 2s lipo. Figured that it would be too fast for most people, so I went with the slower version. |
