Loving the way the servo is mounted need to get that machined up out off alloy and sell a few, makes so much sense being there with the lipo where the old servo used to be.

Can we get a sticky on this one. I think this a great starting point for a lot of people out there with a limited budget. This is a great write up on how to make a great crawler even better.

I have a narrow clue what any of that stuff does but it sounds pro to me. I'm going to hit the search tool there's gotta be some tubulars for these things already. ... (hint hint if not) |

I was wondering how the new servo is holding up? I noticed that all of the spec's that I have found only list it at 4v. Are you running it at 4v or 6v? I am looking into this servo mounted similar to yours. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I got a new servo for my losi and it worked before I hooked the steering links up then when I hooked them up and turned it on it only moved forward and back and did not steer. Then I turned it off and back on again and it did not even move and the light on the esc faded and it smells funny any ideas what happend?

Well for one this thread is 2 years old. For another sounds like the servo with load was to much for the esc. Either it fried the interal bec or the whole thing.
