Default I love my new money pit!!

Just fried my second 225 Mighty, watched as smoke rose from the back plate after like 3 minutes!! First mighty went with the stock ESC BEC but I now have a rooster crawler 12t. Replaced with the whinny stock servo and ran 30 minutes! Lots of power from the Hitec but I know I'm not the first one to do this. I feel like I just wasted $30 on a nice new METAL GEARED smelly box. I know asume the first Mighty fried the stock BEC and I'm just lucky my new Novak didn't! Just a warning for someone looking into this "upgrade" swap.
Any body know were I can get a Lunch Box body?

Nope, just crawlin the side of the couch and table cuse it's rainin'.
I do have a lot of weight but the stock servo didn't fry just makes a noise when loaded and warmed up after a couple of minutes. The stock servo never acually even gets warm. Both the Hitec's got hot.

It seems that the 225mg servo is just not designed to be held at full lock for more then a few seconds? The servo works great in 12th scale pan cars and I ran both a 225mg and 225bb in my micro rs4 and never had an issue!

And all the burn up stories I have heard of have been when the servo was being used in a setup that would call for it to hold a full lock position.

Badger has been using an 82mg in his MRC with good results he said.

Definitly holding the servo close to lock at times but also lots of hard side load and back and forth, I would say standard crawin action though. As for the Rooster, more of a over kill at this time, but once rear steer, lipo, and a larger motor are all added it will equal out. The brake is awesome I do have to say. I will be making a full size servo mount front and rear this week, as well as mounting the frame hoops I made. I need to figure out how to post pics as I have tried to take pics through the process.

I just used the exploded view in the manual and ordered the parts from the front for the back. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

I might be able to copy/paste my order, which will have several other things you may not want (I like to add extras to my toolbox just in case) but I think it should be pretty clear.

14 FREIGHT Shipping and Handling 1 0 0 $7.99 $7.99

The only thing I was unsure about was whether I needed to order 2 diff lockers. The description is very vague. A few of the things on there were ordered because their individual parts (like the shocks) were on backorder and I have broken shocks that need to be fixed. The extra $ was worth not having to wait til it is 40 degrees out to use the truck again.
