Default Carbon Fiber Lipo/servo battery plate now shipping

Hey all, our LOSB1420 Carbon Fiber Servo/Lipo Battery plate is now shipping.
It moves the servo to allow clearance for a Lipo pack on the front axle. Very simple bolt on plate and uses all the stock hardware and linkage.
These should be available through some of the vendors here or your local hobby shop.

We're working hard on getting the other goodies out and I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for the support,
Rich

There is enough room for a 36mm L x 33mm W. Being a mini doesn't leave much room. We will have a 660 mAh pack soon. With a stock MRC you can get about 45-60 minutes or so. Once you have weighed it down with Aluminum wheels you'll see about 30-40 minute run time.

I hope that didn't come off as negative Rich. I just wanted people to have easy access to that bit of info. If they are dumb like I was and go grab the biggest mini-lipo it would be an error to then get this part. My suggestion is to not get the maxamps 2000mah Lipo as the carbon fiber assembly is quite nice

No, this is specifically designed for small LIpo packs.

I'll snap a picture tonight of it mounted without a battery so people can see it. It really is a small space. Unless you don't mind running your truck straight all the time

Probably now, the 660mAh pack is about 1/3-1/2 the size of a Blade CX pack.

I got my carbon servo / battery plate today. In the instructions it says to use LOSB9831 (which cannot be found on horizonhobby.com)
Is the part number wrong or has that battery pack not been released yet?

Sorry I don't have any pics. My laptop is stuck on a failing update loop and I'm waiting on an OEM vista disc so I can fix it.

Sorry about that, the batteries were supposed to be out at the same time. More info soon.

I have a couple of the LOSB9830 lipos from my mlst2 - will those fit on this mount? I'm guessing not. Dimensions listed are 1.7 x 2.7 x .65 in.
