Default My First Entry Into the RC World With my MRC

Well after being into streetbikes, 9 sec mustangs and getting in too much trouble with both of these "hobbies" I sold off the toys and got myself into something a bit cheaper and less prone to me sitting in court getting huge tickets.

I'm going to try this out and if I like it enough I'm going to go with the brushless e-revo to bash around in the field behind my house.

Yesterday i was bored after getting a tooth yanked out and got the day off work so I went to the LHS and picked up a losi mrc in black.

So far this thing has been very fun dominating the furniture in the house and driving my dogs nuts.

My first mod is going to be adding some stick-on wheel weights I got from work on the front and rear wheels to see how that helps.

Just wanted to say hello and I'm sure I'll be asking a bunch of questions. From the looks of it on here I've seen some pretty sick builds and alot of hours invested.

Welcome to the addiction! These things are a blast and there's tons of information and help on this site. Make sure you invest in some new blue crawlers or rock bashers - it's a world of difference!

Yes I believe the "blue compound" tires will be my first purchase. Any cheaper beadlock 1.9 wheels available? The Losi ones looks pretty sweet but 120.00 is a bit much.

Eritek makes some nice beadlocks

You can also use the stock plastic faux beadlocks and turn them into working beadlocks pretty easily.

1.9 Beadlock conversion, so easy it's stupid
