Default RC4wd servo mount

Stripped the teeth off my stock Losi servo so I needed a new mount to run my Hitec HS-5645MG. I noticed that the servo mount from my RC4wd Diablo crawler might just do the trick so I had to tear it apart to find out. To my surprise it was a simple install with no modification to the stock Losi servo plate. From the pictures you can see that the stock holes for the Losi mounting tabs line right up with the new aluminum mount. I just screwed the Rc4wd mount right to the stock plate. The nice thing is you can adjust the mount forwards or backwards to suit your needs.

Very nice. Is this only available if you buy the entire Diablo kit?

Nice find, to bad I just (tonight) modded an axial plate to fit for the same reason.

Nope. It's part no. X-0409 on their site. I believe it's $19.99. It shows you get the servo mount and the adapter for their own axle but I'm sure if you email them you could probably just order the servo mount alone.

Thanks! I just placed an order for one. Now I can put this one back on my Diablo.

Here is a servo plate that is similar to the one ROCKTHRASHER is using. Irecently Mmachined about 10 of them for some local ax10s

So does your servo plate move the servo forward a little? I don't get how it would fit otherwise, the stock servo almost hits the shocks as it is.

stock location, depends on what servo you use, the big airtronics with the heat sinks and extended cases hit, but a typical crawler servo like the hitec 645mg of 5645mg has no issues.
