First mod to my machine is going to be a new set of wheels and the losi blue claws. I've had enough of the cheap stock wheels and junk tires after a few days of playing. I saw the Losi Beadlocks and people have had great reviews saying how easy it is to mount tires and they look pretty cool. How heavy are these? Eritek beadlocks are very cool as well too and a nice buy for the money. I think they were around 60.00 and were pretty heavy which works well. Someone else on here had DNA Beadlocks? but I couldnt find any info on these whether they were modded to fit or a direct replacement. Give me some pics and opinions here fellas! Thanks!

Look into the Mayhems. I have heard nothing but excellent things about them. And the Eritek guy has been gone for a long time now. Nobody knows where he is.

I saw hot racing had beadlocks on e-bay but they don't look that appealing and after reading though here I see the quality seems to be hit or miss on thier stuff so I'd rather avoid it altogether. Wow i just found the Mayhems and they look awesome. THANKS!

The are comp wheels from Mayhem (1.9 Double Fatty's) assume they will just be scaled down 2.2's in looks and freatures have not released yet but they keep teasing that it will be any day. Vanquish makes some nice wheels also but their weighted ones are just a little silly expensive once you buy the weights also. This Should help! http://mayhemengineering.com/rims.html http://www.vanquishproducts.com/mini-procomp-lh-19.html There are alot more choices that don't offer adjustble weights, from all the manuf that you mentioned and then the ones you did offer some that aren't even listed on their web pages. You might want to check out the vendor section for those.

I would really rec the Eritex, not bagging on the other top venders on here, but for the price you cant beat them, for the price of 2 sets of Eritex on sale you can get only 1 set of the others, I like that option I can change tire/foam combo's just buy setting up the spare set and switch them out on the fly instead of taking the wheel apart to switch foams or tire or both out,I think he may becoming out with a set of weights for his MRC beadlocks ?

I second the Eritex. I purchased them as my first set of beadlocks and had no problems mounting up the tires as a newb.

If we can help just let us know. You had asked how much a Mayhem 1.9 wheel weighs 3.5oz. Thats 1 wheel 2 rings and 32 ss screws. Take a look in the vendors section lots to chose from and a lot of different styles and colors and prices. You can't go wrong with any of the vendors here all top notch stuff. Take a look at post #93 Mayhem Eng. 1.9 Beadlock Thanks Mayhem Eng. Last edited by Mayhem Eng.; 01-17-2009 at 08:30 PM.

2 different sets of Eritex MRC wheels here. One standard offset and one wide offset. Both work great and I really like how the dyed white Delrins turned out after hitting them with Orange Rit Dye for about 30 minutes! http://www.eritexinc.com Last edited by schmenzer; 01-17-2009 at 10:17 PM.

You can't miss with any of these vendors...all great products. I have a set of the Eritex Heavies and they're killer...I've never locked up a set of tires on to rims as easily as these, and to second Joat's comment, the price is killer. Don't know if Gerame is having issues with equipment or not, but try shooting him a PM anyway. Good luck with your decision!

I have a set of DNA Snipers for my MRC. I like DNA's wheels the most because their bead always hold tight and only 6 screws. I'm a fan of simple designs that work. As much as I like my Mayhems Comp Double Phattys...the amount of screws per wheel was obsurd. They are great products though and Mayhem has some ingenious ideas for the live weights.
