Default Losi shock cup balls

What are all of you that are running these shocks using for the cup balls on these? I tried using the original shock mount that came on the mrc but the shock on my rig is at a lil bit of an angle so it pops off from time to time. So i put one of the old balls in there and you can only get a 2mm bolt through it. So i was wondering if there are any other option for mounting the shock at the top. Any ideas would be great, thanks!

Do you have a picture you can post? What shocks are you running? I am by no means an expert on suspension geometry but your angle that is causing it to pop out might be the thing to solve. I am using the stock ball mounts on the losi threaded shocks and have never had one pop out. You may want to have your stocks run more parallel because an extreme angle will hinder your suspensions movement and bind it up, resulting in either less movement or something giving way (possible reflected in your mount popping off as in this case).

The holes in the side plates are 2mm and you can easily drill out and tap them for the 3mm that the ball is threaded with.
