Default Shocks

I have been seeing so many options for shocks, and now that my new chassis should be here soon I thought I'd look into them. So far I know of:

-stock shocks
-losi aluminum MRC shocks
-mini-t shocks
-late model shocks
-stocks with internal springs (droop)

So out of all of those which would you think is the best choice for performance?

Thanks

if I where to do it again and I might, I will go with the Losi late model alum shocks, I have the Losi alum MRC shocks and have them so limited, like just about everyone else there's no point in havng them, if your looking for articulation that you'll never use then go with the Losi mrc alum shocks, if you want something practical go with the Late mdoel alum ones.

Alright so late model is looking good so far. What about alum MRC shocks with an internal spring droop setup?

Mini Late Model shocks
Good ride height & plenty of articulation.

Here is my post, Mini Late Model shocks I have since spaced out the uppers shock mounts so there is no binding. They work great and are smooth

I had bought a set of the MLM shocks, but they felt too short. Currently working on a goofball hybrid of vendetta ST shock body/piston/spring and MRC shaft w/ internal and external limiters.

look great..............

jmz6 have a question on the upper mounts. Is that in-board mounted on the uppers and how far in with the spacers. I may bring them in about 10mm with a 4-link, not to sure if it will bind, will lower the 4-link mounted
to the side frames as needed, just above the lower link mount.

Also have the LOSI Aluminum Threaded Shocks...they are realy nice but in my mind, way too much articulation...even with the provided spacersinstalled..but hey, can't always win

Don't you ever have any problems with the lower ground clearance? It seems like you would hook up on every rock you crawled over.

Stock locations on the axle and the black plastic chassis plate. I used 1/4" bushings to space the shocks out and small brass bushings that fit in the upper shock mount hole. I will snap a pic in a few

Maybe I'm thinking incorrectly, but I need more articulation.I have the mini LST shocks and I can't seem to get them soft enough.I feel like I'm driving a scale rig now.

I went with the threaded Mini lst shocks (ebay 23.99) and it lowered my height a little and are very adjustable. They comped well for me.
