Default Various Bodies

Hi, This is my first time posting in the MRC forum. I originally bought the MRC for the Cherokee body, I've decided to do a more scale project with that for a later date. I want to really run the MRC, but I do like realistic looking bodies. I've seen some posts about New Bright Bodies, so I bought some. I got them from Ebay. Some company is selling store returned New Brights. I figured I would post some pics as people, including me were wondering about the scale/wheelbase. I'll also have some pics of the Jeep Cherokee Body and the Geeper for reference as well.

The New Bright Jeep is pretty cool. trimmed out with interior and spare removed, it's pretty light too, for a hard body.

Even Comp cut, it will need to be mounted high or trimmed a lot more to clear when fully flexed. Not sure what I'm gonna do.

Hope this helps...

Pretty stock except for bent links (I know, I Know... the Losi bent links break, but idiot me still couldn't resist when they had them at the Hobby Shop) and Blue Rock Bashers

You could try dove tailing the newbright body. that would look pretty good and allow full flex, at least in the rear.
I am very interested in where you got that cherokee body. Is it from a newbright or a nikko or what?

I got the Jeep Wrangler from Ebay. It was 3 jeeps and one Dodge.

Here's the company...

The Jeep Cherokee was an old 80's toy. It was the Land of the Lost Land Master Jeep. You see them on Ebay from time to time.

I pulled all the electronics and I filled them with model body filler.

Good point docsbear, I definitely need to dove tail the rear. I'll take a shot at it today.

I've got it trimmed and mounted. The dovetail was a great idea. I still had to mount the body kind of high, but it's coming along. Need to clean up the cuts and add some detail.

Bought this New Bright Jeep yesterday. Look almost the same but little bigger. The pic on the chassis is my L-trail wit the wb at 9 5/8. Even has lenses for all the lights.
