| This is my version of the MRC build. All original chassis with the basic modifications (removed radio plate, relocated Rx and ESC to the 3-link bar, mounted battery on rear axle servo plate, flipped shocks upside-down and mounted to chassis plate, flipped drive shafts). The body is a Jeep Clock you can get for about $30 from any place that sells Jeep paraphernalia; I found mine on eBay for $7. The last photo shows a side by side comparison. It took extensive body cutting to get it low enough on the chassis for a suitable center-of-gravity. I made some bracket pieces from styrene to bolt on the body. It works great but looks even cooler! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| The mount on the axle side is the same; had to remove the little ball-joint that was at the shock bottom and snap it to the shock top to mount it to the axle side. Having the shocks upside down reduces any oil leakage and also makes it easier to change springs out or go to full droop. |
