Hey guys how good are the rock bashers on the MRC? Is the losi blue claws the way to go?

Heard that both are a vast improvements over the stock claws. I have a set of each on order that should be here shortly. One set will go on my DNA wheels and the other will go onto the stock Losi's that are going to be converted to a simple beadlock until yet another set of beadlocks miraculously shows up at the door without the wife knowing...

Both are very good , I personally run them and have nothing but success. the claws have their moments where they excel but so do the bashers. overall i would say go with the tread pattern you think looks best on your truck. i like the bashers.

the basher vs claw dabate is still out . i think given that they are the same compound the tread becomes the factor. they both hook up well. i have claws a friend has bashers. i think the claws turn better but the bashers have more forward bite . just what we have come up with from testing and comps. i am about to switch to some gladiator cut and shuts. they seem to hook up great and are a little wider . just my .02

I have used the Losi Bashers with the blue foams at the last two Nor-Cal comps, and have been really pleased with them. Almost too much traction at Pacific Grove and they really were hooking up good at Santa Rosa comp.

personally i like the bashers more

while running it seems like it has a larger contact surface w/ the rocks compared to the blue claws

but reamember, make sure to get the memory foams for them vast improvement over the foams that come w/ the shoes

I will have to try the memory foams. Have any of you guys tried to cut you foams for the MRC? If so how much do you cut or do you star cut them? Thanks

I love my bashers. They seem to sidehill better and look cooler.

I have the Claws because of wanting the same tire as my 2.2. I do however have a strong interest in the Bashers as well. I have never seen a Claw perform badly but for some reason I think the Bashers have a bit more bite. that and the profile is a bit more flat on them. I think that helps side-hilling and grip.
